Restaurant Cafe Rosenberger in Ruedesheim am Rhein

Ordered 4 half chickens yesterday. Very tasty, juicy and well seasoned. The spiciness was OK is nothing wild. If you can eat spicy food, you should order the explosive directly.

Spontaneously traveled around here with the mobile home today and picked us up for lunch at Café Rosenberger: all 4 schnitzel with the accompanying sauces (paprika, hunter and onion), as well as the side dishes (french fries and croquettes) were delicious. The service was incredibly good and after a short wait of just 15 minutes, all dishes came professionally packaged to take away. Conclusion: great value for money, we'll be back!

Just delicious! You definitely have to try Schnitzel Rüdesheimer-style here. Other dishes are wonderful too, and above all affordable. Nice view from the restaurant on the Rhine.

Was very good food. If you just want to eat well in a nice atmosphere and like to be full, this is the right place.

Eaten very well! Generous portions, well seasoned. We had the grill plate for two. Not made it. Hardworking and friendly staff. I can recommend it!

This is a restaurant where it is not possible to make a right booking. We tried to make several times a booking but the first time one the crew members did not file it in their agenda. The second time we verified the appointment onsite and even showed the phone and time we called. they denied in front of us that we made a reservation but solution offered and Sunday was possible. We said 19:00 hour. Today they called and ask why we where not in at 17:00. When we tried to talk to the lady who called so was very but than very rude. Not letting the customer tell the story and total no solution offered. Very unfriendly staff and sadly not possible to try their food cause they won’t let us. If you try to make a booking onsite the crew completely ignores you and are not asking if they can help. And if you ask one of the crew straight than they respond irritated and rude. So no referrals for this restaurant at all!!

Prices were ok for the city (2 main dishes + 2 beverages by 30 euros). Food was really good, specially the Schnitzel with the Riesling sauce. The service was very quick and the staff was very friendly. There were nice tables outside, where you can see people walking around, the boats in the river and the mountains in a sunny day.

The food was great and the waiting time was reasonable. "Only" 4 because there are many interesting dishes that tourists find it difficult to enjoy because you have to order them in advance.

Good food - the snitzel burger can definitely be recommended. The service was not impressive, and seemed stressed despite the fact that the restaurant was only a third full. We were on several occasions during our meal forced to get up and go to the kitchen to be served. Wanting to pay for our meal resulted in a long wait - but with the intervention of another waiter - we managed to be allowed to pay.

Delicious schnitzel with gypsy sauce and cordon blue. Unfortunately the wait staff paid more attention to the boss who was also eating outside than to us. In the end we still had the opportunity to order another drink.

Food very good. Price-performance ratio and overall ambience okay. Unfortunately, we had the incident that the waitress knocked over the balsamic vinegar while serving, so that it ran over the handbags lying on the chair. This can basically happen and it is not the end of the world. However, we would have expected at least one apology. Unfortunately, it was not the case - apart from paper towels to wipe, unfortunately nothing came.

If there were, there would be 10 stars. Have strolled in Rüdesheim, including Drosselgasse. The prices and dishes are what we liked the most here. If you want to be served noble and noble here is wrong here. The landlady is relaxed and we like that. Food was delicious, toilets clean, what more could you want? If you want to sit outside and want it to be quiet, this is also wrong. Goods and passenger trains thunder every 3-4 minutes. Which doesn't bother us personally. Good food

Had the half chicken and a flammkuchen which were both pretty good. The atmosphere was slow and relaxed but we also got there mid afternoon during a weekday. The place has a good amount of seating and the staff seemed friendly.

Lovely setting near the Drosselgasse and sielbahn station in Rudesheim. This cozy restaurant serves typical german fare...loved by tourists including German tourists. Nice wine list.

Great dinner and fantastic service

A bit pokey but then I was only there for a short afternoon tea break. Staff courteous, service swift, fayre (had a dessert) average, tea average (water not hot enough, individual retail tea bag). I wouldn't return based on my brief (albeit not necessarily accurate) experience, and observation of food served to adjacent diners.

According to the homepage the restaurant has several times been awarded for the gastronomi, hospitality and good service. If the jurymembers had visited the restaurant this evening, no awards would be given Rosenberger for a long time. We waited, along with a lot of other guests for 1,5-2 hours for our food. Meanwhile the owners couple were sitting having a chat/drinking with guests who were obviously “friemds of the house”. The waitress was doing the best she could, but left with almost no help from the owners. The food itself was ok, but nothing more than that. Will we come back? Never.

Friendly staff and great food. Nice beer selection, beautifully located. I had the meat lovers plate and it was generous and tasty. Others in our party tried the chicken, seafood and pasta, all good.

The grilled meat platter is large and can be shared by four people. White wine Riesling is very tasty. Fried mushrooms are very delicious

Delicious sausage and sauerkraut. But I would definitely recommend the hot chocolate with brandy in it, especially if you are here in the winter time.

The restaurant is centrally located in Rüdesheim a. Rh., Next to the Drosselgasse and also has a pleasant ambience. However, you should book with more than two people in advance, as it could well be that it is full. So we are eating. The food is on the whole very good and very plentiful, you should eat there with hunger ? The only deduction in the evaluation is from me regarding the waiting time for the food. We had to wait an hour and a half for our food. The restaurant was normally visited and really no hassle among the visitors. Many had to wait between one and two hours.

Food is very tasty and the servers are very friendly and polite. The serving sizes are huge! Be warned

Very unfriendly staff. We were told that we need to wait for 20 min. When we complained that nobody is comming to us we were told that we can go out.

Great place to eat and enjoy the view of the Rhine. Good fun and drink.
